Your number and code
My code didn’t arrive
Most codes arrive within a minute or two of the app sending them. If yours hasn’t:
- Check the number in the app. Use Copy number on the order page, so the country code and digits are exact.
- Ask the app to send the code again, and make sure it sends an SMS, not a call or a message in another app.
- Keep the order page open. It updates on its own when the SMS reaches us.
If no SMS reaches the number within 20 minutes, the order is refunded to your balance automatically and the order page says so. You can then try another country.
The app says the number isn’t valid or is already in use
Some apps turn down numbers they’ve seen before, or numbers from some countries. Cancel the order on the order page before an SMS arrives, and the full amount goes straight back to your balance. Then try another country.
Most apps accept our numbers, but no app promises to accept every number.
Which country should I choose?
Keep Best available unless the app needs a number from a particular country. Best available picks the country most likely to deliver for that app. Checkout shows the price for each country before you pay.
How do I enter the number?
The order page shows the number in its country’s usual format, for example +44 7700 900123, and Copy number copies it without spaces. If the app has a separate country field, choose the country there and enter the rest of the number without the country code.
Can I use the same number again later?
No. A number receives codes only while its 20-minute window is open. Once you’re into the app, add an email or an authenticator app to the account, so you can still sign in and recover it later.
Balance and refunds
How do refunds to the balance work?
If no SMS arrives within 20 minutes, or you cancel before one arrives, the full amount goes back to your balance automatically. You don’t need to ask, and the order page shows it once it’s done.
Refunds always go to your balance. Payments aren’t refunded to cards, bank accounts or wallets, and we don’t hand out free replacement numbers: the refunded balance is yours to spend on another country or another app. The Refund policy has the details.
Using your balance
Every number is paid from your balance. At checkout you can add just what the number needs, from $1 with crypto or $1.30 by card, or $5, $10 or $20 for next time. The balance can only be spent on numbers here. It isn’t refundable, and it can’t be withdrawn or moved to another account.
Receipts and invoices
Your account lists each payment, number and refund. If you need an invoice with your company’s details, open a ticket on our Discord with the date and amount of the payment.
Paying
My payment didn’t go through
You haven’t been charged, and your balance hasn’t changed. The page says why when the payment provider tells us, for example that the bank declined the payment or the card has expired. Try again, or pay another way. We never ask for card details by email or on Discord.
My crypto payment is still pending
Crypto payments go into your balance after the network confirms them, usually within a few minutes. Send the exact amount shown, to the address shown, before the time shown. You can close the page: we email you once the payment is confirmed.
Your account
Signing in
Enter your email and we send you a 6-digit code. The first time, that creates your account; there’s no password. If the email doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder, then send a new code.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account from the account page. We keep records of payments and orders for as long as the law requires, and delete the rest. The Privacy policy lists what we keep and for how long.
Rules and support
What numbers can’t be used for
Numbers are for your own accounts: a second account, a fresh sign-up when your number is taken, privacy, travel, or testing your own app. They aren’t for bulk sign-ups, spam, scams, fake reviews, farming sign-up bonuses or promo codes, or getting round a ban. The Acceptable use policy has the full list.
Getting help on Discord
Open a ticket from the support channel on our Discord server, and have your order ID ready. It’s on your order page. Staff never message you first, and never ask for codes or payment details in a public channel.
