ReserveSMS

Terms

1. Who we are

ReserveSMS (“we”, “us”) runs this website. To reach us, open a ticket on our Discord. These terms apply when you use our website and buy from us.

2. What we sell

We sell the temporary use of a phone number so you can receive an SMS verification code from an app or website you choose. Each number receives messages for a limited time, the activation window, which we show before you pay. It’s currently 20 minutes.

We don’t run the apps you use the numbers with, and we can’t control whether an app accepts a number or sends a code. If no code arrives, section 6 applies.

3. Your account

  • You need an account to buy. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email; the first sign-in creates the account.
  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that’s higher.
  • An account is for one person. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in.

4. Your balance

  • You add money to your balance with the payment methods shown at checkout, and every number is paid from it.
  • The balance can only be spent on numbers from us. It isn’t a bank account and earns no interest.
  • Payments aren’t refunded. You can’t withdraw the balance, exchange it for cash or move it to another account. The Refund policy explains when the price of a number goes back to your balance.
  • Your balance doesn’t expire while your account is open.

5. Prices

Prices are in US dollars and shown before you buy. The price you see at checkout is the total you pay for that number: there are no extra fees.

6. Orders, codes and refunds to your balance

  • Your order starts when we show you the number. The page shows when its activation window ends.
  • If no SMS reaches the number before the window ends, the full price goes back to your balance automatically.
  • If the number fails, for example because the app won’t accept it, and you cancel before an SMS arrives, the full price goes back to your balance.
  • If we can’t get a number after you’ve paid, the full price goes back to your balance.
  • Once an SMS has arrived, the order is complete and isn’t refunded.
  • Refunds only ever go to your balance, never to your card, bank account, wallet or crypto address.
  • We don’t provide free replacement numbers.

Numbers are temporary. A number won’t receive codes after its window ends, so add another way to sign in, such as an email or an authenticator app, to any account you open with it.

7. Using the service properly

You must follow our Acceptable use policy. We limit how many orders an account can have open at once and how many it can place in a day. We may refuse an order or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable use policy, or that shows signs of fraud.

8. App names and logos

App names and logos belong to their owners. They appear on our site only to show which apps our numbers can receive codes from. We aren’t affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.

9. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We aren’t responsible for what an app or website does with a number, such as refusing it or locking an account opened with it, or for losses that weren’t foreseeable when you bought it. If something goes wrong because of us, the most we’re liable for is what you paid us in the 12 months before it happened.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit, and you keep your rights under consumer law.

10. Suspension and closing your account

To close your account, open a ticket on our Discord with your account ID, and we’ll confirm it’s you before closing it. We may suspend or close an account under section 7, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it. Unused balance isn’t refunded when an account closes, except where the law requires it, so spend it first.

11. Changes

We’ll post any changes on this page, with the date at the top, before they apply to you.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you’re a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

13. Contact

For help with an order, see Help. For legal notices, open a ticket on our Discord.
