ReserveSMS

Get a phone number for Steam verification

Get a number, enter it in Steam, and the code shows up on this site as soon as the SMS reaches us. Each number is $1, paid from your balance. If no SMS arrives within 20 minutes, the money goes back to your balance.

How it works for Steam

  1. 1

    Get a number

Keep Best available or pick a country. The number appears on screen as soon as it’s paid from your balance.

  2. 2

    Enter it in Steam

Paste the number where Steam asks for your phone number, and ask it to send the code.

  3. 3

    Copy your code

The code shows up on the order page when the SMS reaches us. No SMS within 20 minutes? The money goes back to your balance.

Good to know for Steam

Steam asks for a phone number to secure your account and before some account features. You add it in your account details, on the Steam website or in the Steam app.

  • If you set up the Steam Mobile Authenticator, write down the recovery code it shows. You’ll need it if you ever lose that phone, because this number won’t receive codes later.
  • Add an email you check to the account as well.

Questions about Steam numbers

What if the Steam code doesn’t arrive?

Give it a minute, then ask Steam to send the code again. If no SMS reaches the number within 20 minutes, the order is refunded to your balance automatically, and you can try another country.

Will Steam accept the number?

Most apps accept our numbers, but no app accepts every number. If Steam rejects one, cancel the order before an SMS arrives and the money goes back to your balance.

Can I use the number again later?

No. The number receives codes only while its 20-minute window is open. Once you’re in, add an email or an authenticator app to your Steam account, so you can still sign in later.

Which country should I choose?

Keep Best available unless Steam needs a number from a particular country. It picks the country most likely to deliver for Steam.
