Get a phone number for Grab verification
Get a number, enter it in Grab, and the code shows up on this site as soon as the SMS reaches us. Each number is $1, paid from your balance. If no SMS arrives within 20 minutes, the money goes back to your balance.
How it works for Grab
- 1
Get a number
Keep Best available or pick a country. The number appears on screen as soon as it’s paid from your balance.
- 2
Enter it in Grab
Paste the number where Grab asks for your phone number, and ask it to send the code.
- 3
Copy your code
The code shows up on the order page when the SMS reaches us. No SMS within 20 minutes? The money goes back to your balance.
Good to know for Grab
Grab uses your mobile number to sign you in. It sends a one-time code when you sign up and when you sign in on a new phone.
- If you sign in on another phone later, the code goes to this number and won’t arrive, so stay signed in.
- Add an email to your Grab profile.
Questions about Grab numbers
What if the Grab code doesn’t arrive?
Give it a minute, then ask Grab to send the code again. If no SMS reaches the number within 20 minutes, the order is refunded to your balance automatically, and you can try another country.
Will Grab accept the number?
Most apps accept our numbers, but no app accepts every number. If Grab rejects one, cancel the order before an SMS arrives and the money goes back to your balance.
Can I use the number again later?
No. The number receives codes only while its 20-minute window is open. Once you’re in, add an email or an authenticator app to your Grab account, so you can still sign in later.
Which country should I choose?
Keep Best available unless Grab needs a number from a particular country. It picks the country most likely to deliver for Grab.
