Get a phone number for Grindr verification
Get a number, enter it in Grindr, and the code shows up on this site as soon as the SMS reaches us. Each number is $1, paid from your balance. If no SMS arrives within 20 minutes, the money goes back to your balance.
How it works for Grindr
- 1
Get a number
Keep Best available or pick a country. The number appears on screen as soon as it’s paid from your balance.
- 2
Enter it in Grindr
Paste the number where Grindr asks for your phone number, and ask it to send the code.
- 3
Copy your code
The code shows up on the order page when the SMS reaches us. No SMS within 20 minutes? The money goes back to your balance.
Good to know for Grindr
Grindr asks for a phone number when you sign up with an email and password, and sends a code by SMS to verify it. It says the number is used only for that check, to keep spam out.
- Accounts made with Apple or Google sign-in don’t need SMS verification, so you may not need a number at all.
- Keep the email and password on the account up to date, so you can always sign in.
Questions about Grindr numbers
Do I need a phone number for Grindr?
Only if you sign up with an email and password. Grindr’s help centre says accounts made with Apple or Google sign-in don’t need SMS verification.
What if the Grindr code doesn’t arrive?
Give it a minute, then ask Grindr to send the code again. If no SMS reaches the number within 20 minutes, the order is refunded to your balance automatically, and you can try another country.
Will Grindr accept the number?
Most apps accept our numbers, but no app accepts every number. If Grindr rejects one, cancel the order before an SMS arrives and the money goes back to your balance.
Can I use the number again later?
No. The number receives codes only while its 20-minute window is open. Once you’re in, add an email or an authenticator app to your Grindr account, so you can still sign in later.
Which country should I choose?
Keep Best available unless Grindr needs a number from a particular country. It picks the country most likely to deliver for Grindr.
