ReserveSMS

Get a phone number for Yahoo verification

Get a number, enter it in Yahoo, and the code shows up on this site as soon as the SMS reaches us. Each number is $1, paid from your balance. If no SMS arrives within 20 minutes, the money goes back to your balance.

How it works for Yahoo

  1. 1

    Get a number

Keep Best available or pick a country. The number appears on screen as soon as it’s paid from your balance.

  2. 2

    Enter it in Yahoo

Paste the number where Yahoo asks for your phone number, and ask it to send the code.

  3. 3

    Copy your code

The code shows up on the order page when the SMS reaches us. No SMS within 20 minutes? The money goes back to your balance.

Good to know for Yahoo

Yahoo asks for a mobile number when you create a Yahoo account, and can use it to send sign-in codes and help you recover the account.

  • Make sure you can sign in without this number: set a password, add a recovery email, and turn on two-step verification with an authenticator app under Account security.

Questions about Yahoo numbers

What if the Yahoo code doesn’t arrive?

Give it a minute, then ask Yahoo to send the code again. If no SMS reaches the number within 20 minutes, the order is refunded to your balance automatically, and you can try another country.

Will Yahoo accept the number?

Most apps accept our numbers, but no app accepts every number. If Yahoo rejects one, cancel the order before an SMS arrives and the money goes back to your balance.

Can I use the number again later?

No. The number receives codes only while its 20-minute window is open. Once you’re in, add an email or an authenticator app to your Yahoo account, so you can still sign in later.

Which country should I choose?

Keep Best available unless Yahoo needs a number from a particular country. It picks the country most likely to deliver for Yahoo.

More answers are in Help. To keep your Yahoo account after the number’s window, see our guide.
