Get a phone number for Uber verification
Get a number, enter it in Uber, and the code shows up on this site as soon as the SMS reaches us. Each number is $1, paid from your balance. If no SMS arrives within 20 minutes, the money goes back to your balance.
How it works for Uber
- 1
Get a number
Keep Best available or pick a country. The number appears on screen as soon as it’s paid from your balance.
- 2
Enter it in Uber
Paste the number where Uber asks for your phone number, and ask it to send the code.
- 3
Copy your code
The code shows up on the order page when the SMS reaches us. No SMS within 20 minutes? The money goes back to your balance.
Good to know for Uber
Uber needs a mobile number to create an account and sends a code to confirm it. It may send a code again when you sign in on a new phone.
- Drivers and couriers may call or text the number on your account, and this one won’t receive calls or texts after its window. Follow the trip or order in the app.
- Add an email to your account, so receipts and sign-in help reach you.
Questions about Uber numbers
What if the Uber code doesn’t arrive?
Give it a minute, then ask Uber to send the code again. If no SMS reaches the number within 20 minutes, the order is refunded to your balance automatically, and you can try another country.
Will Uber accept the number?
Most apps accept our numbers, but no app accepts every number. If Uber rejects one, cancel the order before an SMS arrives and the money goes back to your balance.
Can I use the number again later?
No. The number receives codes only while its 20-minute window is open. Once you’re in, add an email or an authenticator app to your Uber account, so you can still sign in later.
Which country should I choose?
Keep Best available unless Uber needs a number from a particular country. It picks the country most likely to deliver for Uber.
