Get a phone number for Vinted verification
Get a number, enter it in Vinted, and the code shows up on this site as soon as the SMS reaches us. Each number is $1, paid from your balance. If no SMS arrives within 20 minutes, the money goes back to your balance.
How it works for Vinted
- 1
Get a number
Keep Best available or pick a country. The number appears on screen as soon as it’s paid from your balance.
- 2
Enter it in Vinted
Paste the number where Vinted asks for your phone number, and ask it to send the code.
- 3
Copy your code
The code shows up on the order page when the SMS reaches us. No SMS within 20 minutes? The money goes back to your balance.
Good to know for Vinted
Vinted uses your phone number for 2-step verification. You add it under Settings, then Security, and Vinted sends a code to it when it sees unusual activity, such as a sign-in from a new device.
- Codes for those checks go to this number and won’t arrive after its window. If you’ll use Vinted for a while, change the number on the account to one you keep.
- Vinted also needs a confirmed email address for every member.
Questions about Vinted numbers
Can one phone number be on two Vinted accounts?
No. Vinted links each phone number to one account, so a number that’s already on another account is turned down.
What if the Vinted code doesn’t arrive?
Give it a minute, then ask Vinted to send the code again. If no SMS reaches the number within 20 minutes, the order is refunded to your balance automatically, and you can try another country.
Will Vinted accept the number?
Most apps accept our numbers, but no app accepts every number. If Vinted rejects one, cancel the order before an SMS arrives and the money goes back to your balance.
Can I use the number again later?
No. The number receives codes only while its 20-minute window is open. Once you’re in, add an email or an authenticator app to your Vinted account, so you can still sign in later.
Which country should I choose?
Keep Best available unless Vinted needs a number from a particular country. It picks the country most likely to deliver for Vinted.
